for Headdress Ball!
A benefit for the Hope and Help Center of Central Florida.
At the Hilton Orlando off International Drive
Headdress Ball is Orlando´s most outrageous black tie event. It is a who´s who extravaganza filled with lively entertainment, sumptuous food and libations and a contest the likes of which you have never seen before. It is hard to believe that this year is our 24th annual Headdress Ball. This event has evolved from a small floral competition to a full on Las Vegas style show and production. In addition to the dinner, awards and live auction there is a FULL Las Vegas style show and Headdress Competition. Local businesses create headpieces and costumes up to 13 ft tall out of the most outrageous materials with creative and sometimes risqué designs. The Headdresses are always sure to wow and delight guests. Please read our history to see the story behind the event!
Call for Volunteers
Headdress Ball XXIV will be held on October 26, 2013. We need about 100 volunteers that night to ensure that the event is a success. Headdress Ball History
by Sam Ewing, co-founder of Headdress Ball
Hope and Help Center of Central Florida Inc.
Established in 1988, the mission of the Hope and Help Center of Central Florida is simple: to save lives by treating and preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS in Central Florida. The Hope and Help Center offers medical case management, testing, counseling, peer support, education and community outreach programs, including a food pantry. By supporting the Headdress Ball you assist the Hope and Help Center in fulfilling this very import role in your community. Headdress Ball is Hope and
Help´s largest fundraiser of the year raising over 3 million dollars for the Central Florida AIDS service organization since its inception 24 years ago. We are proud to say that 90 cents on every dollar raised goes directly to client services at Hope and Help.![]()
